General information

AntiViral Toolkit Pro for Windows 95/98/NT Platinum edition is a powerful
antivirus solution which offers you the best available detection and removal
capabilities. These include the Code Analyzer heuristic scanning technology
that can detect unknown and new viruses as they appear. AntiViral Toolkit
Pro gives you everything you need to keep your system intact and secure. AVP
is a native Windows95/98 application which provides true 32-bit implementation.
It is also extremely easy to use and can be easily updated via the Internet
to detect and dispose of new viruses.

To install AVP, complete the steps below:
- insert the disk with AVP
- run SETUP.EXE
- follow the on-screen instructions
- to register AVP please type the number specified in your registration card
  or any number in case of evaluation copy

Main features of AVP

- Scans disks, system memory, files, system  areas  (boot sector, MBR,
  partition table) and email attachments to detect and eliminate viruses
- Detects and removes the following types of viruses:

- AVP employs the Code Analyzer scanning technology which assures detection
  of up to 80% of unknown viruses
- Scanning inside compressed files (Unpacking Engine)
- Scanning inside archive files (Extracting Engine)
- Scheduled scanning
- On-access scanner which provides real-time detection of viruses
- Powerful help system
- Intuitive user interface

Note:
Unlike the previous builds, AVP Control Center is configured to load at Windows
startup from the system registry rather than from the StartUp menu.
